Now in its 5th year, the Northwestern Startup Career Fair connects entrepreneurial-minded students with startup companies recruiting for full time and internship roles. The Fair welcomes students from across Northwestern University including undergraduates as well as graduate students from Kellogg, McCormick, Medill and other schools.

This event is open to startups at all stages who are looking to hire top-tier talent for full time roles or summer internship.


TIME: 12 - 4pm

10 - 12pm: Employer Check In, Lunch, and Setup

12 - 4 pm: Startup Career Fair


Students: Undergraduate, Masters, MBA, and PhD students will be in attendance. Students from every school will be represented.

Companies: All stages of startups are welcome.

Should I bring my resume to the Career Fair?

Yes. Please bring paper copies of your resume.

I am a graduate student. Can I still come?

Yes. We will have a wide variety of employers looking for students with a wide variety of backgrounds.

How many startups will be looking for interns vs. full-time hires?

It will most likely be a nearly even split. Some startups will be looking for both.

Will there be any particular industry concentration, for instance, high-tech, at the Fair?

No. High-tech will be well-represented, but so will other industries.

How do I know what startups will be attending?

Startups registered for the event will be added to the website. Students will also be able to login to our events app the day of the fair to see attending companies and the positions they are seeking to fill.

What is the dress code?

You are welcome to wear anything you think appropriate, but we recommend casual dress.
